Two-Rock Amplifiers at Chicago Music Exchange! |
Two-Rock Explained
Explore The Power of Touch Sensitivity with Two-Rock Amplifiers!
In the world of boutique, handwired tube amplifiers, few names carry the same reputation for refinement, responsiveness, and tonal excellence as Two-Rock Amplifiers. Originally founded in 1999 and inspired by Dumble and high-end Fender amp tones, but have since morphed into amplifiers with their own character, emphasizing the way an amp feels, not just simply how it sounds.

With their focus on touch sensitivity and dynamics, it’s hardly surprising that players such as John Mayer, Eric Johnson, and Joe Bonamassa have all added Two-Rock Amplifiers to their rigs. At Chicago Music Exchange, we carry a full selection of Two Rock Amplifiers in a variety of configurations and colors, and seemingly everyone who plugs in to a Two-Rock falls in love with it! Discover the Two-Rock Difference for yourself by calling us today at (773)525-7773, chatting with us on our website, or by simply coming into our Lincoln Avenue Showroom!
What Makes Two-Rock Different?
At the heart of every Two-Rock is the boutique build quality with careful component selection, and handwired construction. This includes the selection of 6L6GC power tubes for most models, which contribute to big, round, and open American-style tone. These tubes are selected with the goal of contributing to their responsive feel and massive headroom, although lower-wattage models utilize 6V6 tubes for earlier breakup and a more mid-forward tone.
Another defining feature of Two-Rock Amplifiers is their extensive tone-shaping controls. With switches for gain structure, tone-stack bypass, and brightness (depending on the model), those who obsess over every little detail will love the wide variety of beautiful tones they can achieve with the flip of a switch and the turn of a knob.
A Two-Rock Amplifier for Every Player!
Two-Rock’s extensive lineup of amplifiers is built to allow each professional (and each tone-obsessed amateur) to dial in the exact tone they’re looking for!
Two-Rock Amplifiers are more than a device to plug your guitar into. They are an instrument in and of themselves, thanks to their combination of exceptional headroom, remarkable touch sensitivity, flexible voicing options, and boutique craftsmanship creates an experience that feels uniquely musical.
